If you haven’t visited Cranes Roost in a while, or you’ve never been, now is the perfect time to check it out. I absolutely love coming here. They have so many wonderful activities going on at any given time. Coming up on February 25 from 10am – 1pm is the Sight & Sole Walk Fest to bring awareness to the community about vision impairments and blindness. On March 11 from 7 – 11am is the More Than Pink Walk fundraiser to support the breast cancer movement. Then on March 17 from 7- 9pm, get ready to get your groove on with Uptown Vibes. This is a free concert featuring local talent and artists. March 18th at 8pm is Cranes Roost Sunset Cinema where they will be playing the Jungle Cruise movie, a wonderful family film that’s sure to make you and the kiddos smile. If shopping is more your thing, then come on down on March 19 from 9am to 2pm for Urban Basket. Local vendors range from produce, plants, skincare, art, etc. Finally, March 24, 25 & 26th is the Uptown Art Expo. Hours are Friday 6:30 – 10pm, Saturday 10am – 10pm and Sunday 10am – 5pm.
